Write for us
We welcome considered pitches about the ways films are accessed, collected, shared, archived and revisited. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a finished article without an invitation.
What makes a good pitch
Name the subject, the question the piece will answer and the reader who could use it. Explain the angle in a few sentences, identify the category it belongs to and show how it differs from familiar film criticism or a general viewing recommendation.
Useful contributions
We look for specific, self-contained ideas that can be explored without unsupported claims, professional advice or private access. Comparisons, clear explanations and well-framed accounts of changing habits can work well when their limits are made explicit.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial enquiry option. Include a short summary and any relevant context; do not send confidential information or assume that a pitch has been accepted until we reply.
A film has a life beyond its first screening.
The way a film is found, kept and shared matters. We look at those choices without pretending there is one right way to watch.
